This new pack focuses solely on these characters, allowing you the freedom to place them in any scenario you desire. Whether you're feeling nostalgic or want to mix things up with the newer 2023 cast, the choice is yours.
Fans of the 2016 version have been eagerly awaiting the return of these characters, particularly after the introduction of the more modern 2023 lineup. It's great to see that Marmalade Game Studio has listened to the community and brought back these fan-favorites.
There’s More Coming to the Game!
In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new Retro Rules Set game mode, which is free to all players. This mode harks back to the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic gameplay experience with unique mechanics. For instance, tokens will start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet will always make the first move, unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard takes her place.
In this mode, accusations can only be made when you're in a room, and Clue Cards are removed entirely. Movement is also restricted, as you cannot move through squares occupied by other players. This adds a layer of strategy and challenge to the game.
