Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King has announced its end-of-service (EOS) today. The game, which began its global journey on November 30, 2023 following a regional soft launch, is concluding operations. This marks the close of the game's nearly two-year chapter on mobile platforms.

When is Black Clover M Shutting Down?

The final shutdown is scheduled for August 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM. All sales of paid items will cease on June 20. However, any purchased items, battle passes, and packs already owned will remain usable until the service ends in August.

The last major content update is planned for June 25. This update introduces new content inspired by the film *Black Clover: The Magic Emperor’s Sword*, including the arrival of two new mages featured in the movie.

Additionally, black crystals—both paid and free—will be offered at significant discounts in the in-game exchange, available for as low as 1 to 10 crystals each. Following the maintenance on June 25, new player account registration will also be suspended.

After the servers close, players may request refunds for any unused paid black crystals. The refund application window opens on August 20 and will be available until November 17, 2025.

To process a refund, you will need to provide specific account details such as your registered email, character nickname, Account ID (AID), date of birth, and remaining crystal balance. Official player support services will also wind down during this period, with the help desk closing permanently on November 17, 2025.

Did You Ever Play It?

This mobile RPG immerses players in the world of *Black Clover* from Shonen Jump and TV Tokyo. It features turn-based combat and a character collection system deeply tied to the anime's story. Players form squads of Magic Knights, enhance their abilities, and strive to claim the ultimate title of Wizard King.

Upon its initial release, the game was commended for successfully capturing the spirit of the anime. Unfortunately, this positive reception was not sustained. Like many contemporary gacha games, it soon faced player criticism regarding its character progression systems and gameplay mechanics.

If you are a fan of the anime and curious to explore the game before it ends, it remains available for download on the Google Play Store.
