Battlefield 6 is now available to play for free on all platforms during a limited-time trial, featuring select multiplayer maps and modes from Season 1. As announced by EA and Battlefield Studios on November 25, the 2025 best-selling first-person shooter delivers a free trial week designed to let fans dive into "the high-octane, all-out warfare of Battlefield 6."The free trial started on November 25 at 4:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM ET and will run until December 2 at 4:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM ET. Battlefield General Manager Byron Beede shared his excitement in a press release on the same day, welcoming players to the game.
"We are incredibly proud of what our talented teams at Battlefield Studios have achieved and deeply inspired by the passion of our community as we continue to build Battlefield together with our fans. Today’s launch of a free trial for Battlefield 6 is the ideal chance for new players to experience the intense, all-out warfare that millions around the world are already celebrating," he said.
Battlefield 6 has already made a massive impact before its full release, peaking at over 500k concurrent players during its open beta weekend and selling more than 7 million copies in just three days.
