With Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) already a month into its release, Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the gaming experience with a robust lineup of updates. Announced via their X (formerly Twitter) account on May 1, the year 1 roadmap teases a host of new story and gameplay elements.
A highlight of the roadmap is the introduction of Story Drops, a series of free content updates for AC Shadows. Ubisoft promises, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."
In addition to the free updates, Ubisoft is gearing up to launch their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, later this year. This expansion takes players to the unexplored island of Awaji, offering a fresh region to explore post-epilogue. Expect to encounter new enemies, gain new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
