  • Arknights: Endfield shared the spotlight with other major franchises as a top Gamescom highlight
  • The latest gameplay trailer reveals new base-building mechanics and ARPG combat
  • Arknights is creating a strong presence offline with its dedicated booth and interactive activities

What’s this? Even more coverage from Gamescom? You better believe it. It should come as no surprise that with trailer costs exceeding $500,000, only the biggest titles are making a splash—and naturally, Yostar is leading the charge. Their new Arknights: Endfield trailer showcases intriguing new gameplay, including extensive base-building features.

Longtime fans are likely already familiar with the fresh ideas Arknights: Endfield brings to Yostar’s growing franchise. The Gamescom trailer provides an even clearer look at one of its key components: base building has become a major element, allowing players to set up production lines alongside the series’ signature tower defense gameplay.

Of course, there’s also plenty of 3D ARPG action, another exciting addition to the Arknights universe. Much like today’s earlier reveal for Honor of Kings: World, the trailer makes the most of its runtime, highlighting vibrant effects and fast-paced combat set in a colorful world.

Thanks to its sleek sci-fi aesthetic and engaging mechanics, Arknights has already carved out its own success story. With its blend of modern 3D combat and the classic tower defense and base-building features of the original, Arknights: Endfield could become a surprising contender in the ARPG genre.

And if you’re among the lucky attendees at Gamescom this year, you can experience Arknights: Endfield in person. Be sure to visit Hall 8.1, Booth B021 for interactive activities, special cosplayer appearances, and plenty of exclusive merchandise.
