King Slime

While considered a minor boss, King Slime remains a formidable opponent for low-level players. It doesn’t pose the same threat as other bosses, but it still demands caution. Be warned—it does not drop soul points.

King Slime Location

The King Slime spawns after 100 Slimes perish on the server. It appears near the city where the last slain slime was located, with a notice appearing on the Quest Board indicating its presence. The quest consists of two parts:

  1. Find the King Slime.
  2. Defeat the King Slime.

A 30-minute global cooldown applies to the server after completion.

King Slime Fighting Strategy

With only 400 HP (or 600 HP if corrupted), King Slime has the lowest HP of any boss in Arcane Lineage. Its primary threat lies in summoning swarms of Slimes and deploying area-of-effect poison attacks. Focus on eliminating its minions first to avoid being overwhelmed. Its attacks include:

  • Slime Creation: Summons Slimes (Energy Cost: 1).
  • Crush: Charges a party member (Energy Cost: 0).
  • Poison Eruption: Throws acid, poisoning the party (Energy Cost: 2).
  • Scalding Spray: Releases boiling liquid, poisoning the party (Energy Cost: 3).
