Pokémon TCG Pocket is set to release the highly anticipated Celestial Guardians expansion this month, launching globally on April 30th, 2025. Players will embark on adventures in the vibrant Alola region, soaking in the sun and exploring under the moonlit sky.
What’s Exciting About the Celestial Guardians Expansion?
The Celestial Guardians expansion introduces two new digital booster packs, led by the iconic Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala. Fans will also encounter Lillie and other familiar characters from the Alola saga. For avid collectors, this update is monumental, featuring over 200 cards, including powerful Pokémon ex such as Solgaleo ex and Lunala ex. The beloved Alola starter trio—Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio—are finally joining the Pocket app.

Upcoming Events
From April 30th at 06:00 a.m. UTC to May 13th at 05:59 a.m. UTC, players can dive into solo battles to earn exclusive promo cards. One standout card is Rayquaza ex, the legendary dragon.
Special missions will run concurrently, starting April 30th and lasting until May 29th at 05:59 a.m. UTC. These missions offer another version of Rayquaza ex, alongside additional accessories and rewards.
Rounding out the festivities is the Half-Year Celebration for Pokémon TCG Pocket, beginning April 29th at 11:00 p.m. PDT, just before the expansion drops.
Solo battles will distribute Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters until May 12th, featuring Rayquaza ex as the highlight. The missions continue through May 28th.
