- This is the first installment in the Essence series, a turn-based classic JRPG.
- You play as an adventurer investigating strange rumors in the kingdom. During your investigation, you're imprisoned and must escape by clearing the dungeon.
※ Game Tips
1. Visit the goddess to boost your stats, return to the dungeon, or save your game.
2. Start with a Great Sword to attack all enemies at once.
3. Use a special item to avoid battles in snake-infested areas of The Wild.
4. If a floor is too challenging, descend to lower levels to find better gear.
5. Losing a battle costs you half of your gold.
6. Evasion is calculated based on Agility difference when combat starts.
7. All status effects are removed after battle.
8. Weapon special attacks ignore enemy Defense.
9. The gold cap is 999G.
10. Check bookshelves for crucial clues.
