Looking for an alternative to Western chess? Why not give Chinese Chess, or Xiangqi, a try?
Welcome to the 21st Anniversary Edition of Chinese Chess. Relieve boredom, have fun, and exercise your mind all at once with this classic board game.
ZingMagic’s critically acclaimed Chinese Chess app offers a fun, stimulating, and engaging take on the traditional chess experience.
Similar to Western chess, the goal is to capture your opponent's King. You control seven different pieces, each with unique movement rules. The board features both horizontal and diagonal lines, with pieces moving along these lines and stopping at intersections. The blank area in the center represents the Yellow River, which historically divided northern and southern China. In Chinese Chess, major pieces enter the action faster, creating a quicker and more dynamic game.
New to the game? Not a problem. With hints, legal move displays, piece movement guides, game info, and 20 play levels, you can learn Chinese Chess comfortably at your own pace.
