How to Play
Objective: The aim is to predict and achieve the number of tricks you can win in each round.
Game Setup:
- The game begins with a round where each player is dealt one card. In subsequent rounds, the number of cards dealt increases by one each time until the maximum number of cards is reached (e.g., 10 cards per player in a 5-player game).
- After reaching the maximum, the number of cards dealt decreases back to one card per player in the final round.
Gameplay:
- Each round starts with the dealer distributing the appropriate number of cards to each player.
- Starting from the player to the left of the dealer, each player announces how many tricks they expect to win in that round.
- The highest bidder determines the trump suit for the round.
- The dealer, who bids last, must ensure that the total number of tricks bid by all players does not equal the total number of cards dealt in that round. For example, if 7 cards are dealt to each player in a round, and the bids so far are 0, 3, and 2, the dealer cannot bid 2 because 0 + 3 + 2 + 2 would equal 7.
Scoring:
- Points are awarded based on how accurately players predict their tricks. If a player correctly predicts the number of tricks they will win, they score points for those tricks. If they overbid or underbid, they may lose points or score fewer points depending on the specific rules being used.
- The player with the highest total points at the end of the final round wins the game.
