The game features multiple levels, each completed by taking down the boars that appear on your screen.
Your score increases as you successfully hunt wild boars. The first boar counts as one point, the second as two, and the third as three. If you manage to take down five in a row, you will earn 15 points. After clearing the screen, the count resets.
You begin each level with a bolt-action rifle. A round is automatically chambered, but you must wait for the bolt-action cycle to complete before firing again. To load more rounds into the magazine, click on it when it flashes on the screen.
By scoring at least 40 points, you can finish the level with an automatic repeating rifle by clicking on the flashing prompt. This action will cost five points.
The maximum number of allowed misses is 7 at Level 1, decreasing to 4 by Level 6. You can also earn extra misses.
Starting at Level 6, if you take down five boars in a row without a miss (for 15 points), one failure will be deducted. Boars that are not dropped with the first shot and require a second count as two boars for the sequence but only score as one.
At Level 7, if you reach 100 points, you can use an extra six-round magazine for a cost of five points. If you then take down the next six wild boars on screen, you will earn 22 points and deduct one failure.
In subsequent levels, to achieve the maximum points in a row and earn extra failures, you must complete growing series of boars. The series starts over each time the screen is cleared of dead boars.
Note that it is possible to take down every boar that appears on the screen,
even with the bolt-action rifle; you simply need to figure out the correct order to shoot them.
