The 28 Card Game is a popular Indian trick-taking game for four players. In this game, the Jack and the 9 are the highest-ranking cards in each suit, followed by the Ace and the 10. Play typically involves four players using 32 cards from a standard deck. Each suit—Spades, Hearts, Clubs, and Diamonds—contains eight cards. The rank of cards in each suit, from highest to lowest, is:
J, 9, A, 10, K, Q, 8, 7.
The objective is to win tricks that contain valuable cards.
Cards carry the following point values:
Jacks = 3 points
Nines = 2 points
Aces = 1 point
Tens = 1 point
All other cards (King, Queen, 8, 7) = 0 points.
